modem driver

i need a amr 56k modem driver i have modem in p.c but no drivers for it any ideas ?? thank you

go to and sign up free and do a basic search for your modem driver - download to hard disk - then self-extract - by using setup.exe or install.exe and then go to add/remove hardware - look for modems - and point to your modem files - select the *.inf file...

If you have a Motherboard CD have a look there to see if you have already got one. Or if you got a Installation CD

PS although I do not Have a AMR modem, the motherboard that I installed do's have the modem driver on the CD It depends on the chipset that is on the motherboard. just any old driver will not work. Mine is aSIS chipset ECS board

If you Have a SIS chipset you will find this on the Motherboard an IC about 1½ ins sqare
