my friends pup has bitten through her virgin modem cable could any one please tell me if there is anything they can join it with as virgin are wanting £50 to fix it thanks leo

i dont think they can replace it as it is the cable that enters the house her has bitten through

If it's a standard RJ11 cable, you can buy a 10m replacement for around £10.

its not adsl cable it like ariel cable that virgin put in when installing the modem and it would need to be something to join it thanks leo

If you have an electrical friend or know someone who works or worked for BT, might be cheaper to use a connector and the existing cable. See:

They use a co-axial type cable with screw connectors.

click here That is what you will need because that is what they use from the box inside the house to the modem or set top box.
