Mobile Phone USB Driver Uninstallation

How do I correctly uninstall a driver.

I've been trying to get my mobile (Motorola L6) connected USB to the PC and had tried Mobile Action Handset Manager.

Now I want to try another package, Phone Tools with the P2K driver (installed), but the add new hardware wizard (when I plug the phone in)insists on finding mamotou.sys, which is the driver I installed for the Mobile Action package.

Do I just delete the mamotou.sys and other mamotou files from the PC and let the wizard look for other drivers? Or do I need to do some uninstallation ?

It should be listed in the add and remove list.I'm almost sure my RAZR driver was.Mind you thats about three phones ago so I could be wrong.

Have you uninstalled the Mobile Action package?

OK I got it sorted.

I downloaded a utility to remove all traces of Motorola phone drivers etc. Can't remember where I got it from, but it was called DriverTool.

After that Phone Tools was able to install the correct driver and all is working.
