Mixed fonts in OE

I have a strange fault in Outlook Express.

The default settings for the Compose font is arial 9 and plain text. When I create a mail all the headings, To, Subject etc are correctly shown in Arial 9 but as soon as I go to write the body of the message this is created in Times New Roman 9 so all my mail has different fonts for the headings and body.Presumably this is a simple setting somewhere but where.Anybody got any ideas please? TIA.

Try 'Tools' > 'Options' > 'Compose'

Been there, done that. It definitely states Arial 9. I just don`t understand why it has different setting for the headers & body text.

Thanks for trying.
