Missing Telephone Calls?

  dublincity 15:29 10 May 2004

Does anybody know of a freeware program that puts a message onto your screen when you're online and somebody is trying to ring you but finds your line engaged? I downloaded a small program called CallClerk but was told that I needed .NET Framework version 1.1.4322 in order to run it. When I found this and started to download it I discovered that it was more than 200 MB's with an estimated download time of more than 22 hours. So I cancelled it! Any advice will be welcomed. Many Thanks, Mike.

(of interest, is that dial up or broadband speed???)

Hi - I'm on dial-up - a 56 Kbps modem (is that the right jargon?). The indicated download speed is usualy of the order of 3 - 4 Kbps, or double that in the middle of the night. Mike.

I dont know this any use as you have to pay for it, if you get call waiting you can then get an attackment to your phoneline that rings/flashes when someones try to get through..

You can also divert the calls from your BT line to your mobile. ;-))
