Missing Programs in All Programs

When I go to 'Start', 'All Programs', every folder is coming up as empty (as in the picture below).

I can still access the missing Programs by going through the 'search' facility and finding the appropriate folder and then clicking on 'run'.

When I double click on an item the folders come up blank.

Have run: SFC /SCANNOW

Not showing any faults.

At my wits end with this.

Right click on the Start button>Properties and check out what is available/Enabled via Customise.

Try a system restore

If you go to Help and Support (that's what it's there for!) and key in Start menu or similar, you'll find plenty of information about adding/removing programs etc from the list.

But remember that the Classic Start menu, which I prefer, is slightly different to that of the XP version.
