Missing Outlook Bar

  warthog01 13:38 04 Apr 2006

I use Outlook Web Mail to pick up company EMails when I'm away from the office. Recently, I cranked it up and discovered the Outlook Bar (on the left--provides folder or shortcut access) had disappeared. I've looked everywhere, but can't figure out how I've lost it!!

What I have now is my inbox, but no way to get to sent mail, contacts, etc, etc. I'm running WinXP Pro and Firefox (but it's set to open Web Mail in IE)

Can anyone tell me where the damn thing's gone (and more importantly, how to retrieve it)??:hmm:

If you mean the Outlook Bar, Click on View then check Outlook Bar.

Sorry--that's the puzzling bit--Outlook Bar isn't shown in the view dropdown!

The only other thing I can suggest is Help/Detect & Repair.

1. Quit Outlook.

2. Click Start, and then click Run.

3. In the Open box, type

Outlook /resetoutlookbar, and then click OK.

If its the navigation Pain to the left.

Go to view and click on Navigation pain or try Alt + F1
