missing dll file

i can anybody help when i boot up tiny notebook
i get a message that reads ..a required DLL file
wbtapi.dll was not found i know its from an
old program i no longer use
how do i get rid of it for good thanks

Using XP? Click Start>run>type in msconfig

Click Startup

Find the 'old program you no longer use' in the list and uncheck the box next to it, then close out and save the changes.

Windows will now start in selective start up mode, ignoring programs(or bits of them)that it would normally load.

Otherwise go through and make sure all the old programs have been properly uninstalled.
