Missing dll

Can anyone help please, running windows 98se and attempting to load game Diablo. When I put it in I get message Smacker Error, The Binkw32.dll file is incorrectly installed in Windows or Windows system directory. I click on OK and get Error starting programme. The Binkw32.dll file cannot start. Check the file to determine the problem.
I ran SFC check and it came up with File changed d2l or d21_Install.exe. Could anyone tell me how to rectify this problem?

did you unzip it to the windows system folder?

Cant believe it, runs on old computer Win 95 200 cpu and 64 meg 3 gig hd. A little slow though. Just looked on back of game it says suitable for W2000,XP, ME, 98 95 & NT4.0 SP5 or greater, no mention of 98SE, but I take it, it should play.

try uninstalling the game from win98se, ensure the dll file is in the system folder and re-install.
