I recently miragted from Demon internet to AOL.
I asked for my MAC code and used it. I am not on AOL, but i was wondering do i need to contact demon again to tell them that i am no longer with them? will they continue to take money out of my account?

As you have migrated to AOL they are your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Demon no longer are and cannot bill you for that service. Just for peace of mind check your account to make sure no funds are taken out from Daemon as mistakes can happen.

Presumably you were paying Daemon by Direct Debit? If so get in touch with your bank and instruct them to cancel the DD to Daemon immediately.

Agreed but maybe some weeks or days need to be paid for until the account is closed with Demon.
If the account was paid in advance then a refund might apply.

You should not need to contact or cancel with Demon.

When the ISP is notified that a migration has taken place, the customer's notice period
(ie the date at which notice to discontinue service is taken for the purposes of calculating
any outstanding subscription charges under the contract) will be taken to have
commenced on the issue date of the MAC, or on the date of any prior notice to terminate,
whichever is the earlier.
