microsoft works 9.0 help

the problem i have is that whenever i open a new blank document a previously set up template always appears so i have to delete that before starting a new document even deleting the template or reinstalling works doesnt solve this can anyone help please.

You've managed to save your template as the default option. Probably the quickest way is to save a "blank" template as follows:

When you open a new blank document

On the File menu, click Save As.
Click Template.
The Save As Template dialog box appears.

Type a name for the template.
For example, type MyTemplate.

Select the Use this template for new Word Processor documents check box.
Click OK.

thanks for the reply. trouble is when i open a new blank document it isnt blank but opens with this template i dont want so i cant get a blank opening page

so I assumed you were able to start a new document.

So try this - as before File menu and click Save As

Click Template and on the new box click Default

At the bottom click Reset
