Hi How can I clear the file on Word.

When I clck on file its shows the last few docs.

I need clear these and stop them showing in future.

Tools | Options | General then untick "Recently used file list..."

Open Word, then Tools > Options > General,
uncheck "recently used file list".

with the menu showing press

CTRL + ALT + - (minus sign)

The cursor will turn into a thick bar. Hover it over a file to delete and laft click.

In Word, click Tools - Options - General. Untick the "Recently used file list". Ok out of the dialogue box and check that the list is gone. If you want you can now retick the "Recently used file list" box.
