Does Publisher not come as part of the full Office Professional? I've just installed Office XP and it's not there - what have I missed? Many thanks

No, you have to buy it separately.

publisher usually comes with the professional versions only

Nope! VoG is correct. I have the professional version of Office XP and Publisher is a separate program.

come with the Office 200 version...
In fact it came on the SBE version of Office 2000, though it was on a second disc.

Although you will not have Publisher with Office XP, you will have a second CD titled "Media" this contains all the clip-art from publisher.

Thanks guys - this answers my quandry - I've been working with Publisher 2000 Professional and couldn't remember buying or loading anything separate all those years ago. Now I finally have got round to loading XP I wonder if it's worth the trouble.
Many thanks for all the help

If you still have an earlier version of Publisher it will work with XP. Even if it is part of an earlier Office program such as 2000.

Just load the CD but choose custom install and de-select everything except publisher.
