microsoft outlook and security

  sultana 16:09 04 Jun 2003

my finacial programme creates email remittance advices to be emailed via outlook. All works well except that outlook warns that another programme is trying to sent email and after five seconds I have to press yes to allow this. This is repeated for every email message. I know it is a security for outlook and it better left..but it takes me a long time to send about 100 emails this way.

Could someone please help.. and let me know how I can turn this security off.

Have a look uder tools / options and work your way through the different settings. There will be an option 'warn me when other applications send mail through outlook' (like there is on Outlook Express)

The program that is causing this could be your Anti-virus software.
