Microsoft Outlook - how do I delay Send & Receive

  RickB 19:25 09 Sep 2004

My MS Outlook is set up to "send" any message in my Outbox immediately - I would rather it wait a while in case i want to change someone. I know its possible but can't find how to change the setting. Can anyone help? Many thanks. Rick

Tools/Options, Mail Setup tab, untick "Send immediately when connected".

That is for Outlook 2003 - I think it is roughly the same in earlier versions.

Tools/Options/Mail setup tab and remove the tick from "Send immediately when connected" or click on the button to the right of the box and set your options to suite. j
