I have a 'Microsoft Office Excel Comma Separated Values File' (CSV) that I wish to import to 'Outlook 2007'. I am puzzled how to do this having had little experience with 'Excel 2007'. Does anyone know how to do this please?

In my Outlook2000:

File/Import and Export
Import from another program or file
Next
Select Comma Separated Files (Windows)
Next
Browse to your .csv file

I think Excel should just recognise the csv. Have you tried just double clicking the file?

you could left click open with select excel, or you could use excel import file

The point is that he`s trying to import into Outlook not open it in Excel - I`m with robinofloxley on this one!

I did it from 'Contacts' in Outlook; I eventually found an import in Contacts. robinofloxley was very near the point but in Outlook 2007 there is one extra stage after from 'Import from another file' which is not as clear as day. Thanks for the help, with the correct medication & care I might re-gain my sanity now.
