Does anyone here use Microsoft Office 2007 Professional Educational? What are the licensing terms ie how many pcs can the software be installed on? Is the license for a limited period or indefinite?

As a secondary school teacher I should be able to buy this product?

look for the 2003 version with free update to 2007 or else you will not get outlook its missing in the educational pack in 2007.

that was the advice i heard a couple of months ago given to a teacher.

Being a school teacher, why don't you check with your local authority and see if they are doing any licensing deals with Microsoft.

Here in Wakefield we were allowed to purchase Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 for a little over £17, this was to cover costs of postage etc,. All you needed to qualify was to have a local authority e-mail address, and of course to work for them.

It’s the Office Home and Student 2007 that's got outlook missing.

As no LEA deal is offered on Microsoft Office by Rotherham I am still looking at Microsoft Office 2007 Professional Educational.

Can anyone advise on this please?

2007 Office deal given to NHS staff. They need to sign on through their work Intranet.
