What Office software is compatable with OS 98.

EG: Microsoft Word, Access, and the rest of Office.

I ran Office 2000 back in the day when i had Windows 98. And my machine was poo. So im sure it would run on anything.

I have a good Friend who has done alot of work for us on her PC. She has only WIN 98 OS.

So I would like to give our friend. Microsoft Office. eg: Word, access, ect.

office xp, or office 2000 pro. ECT. I do not know which one is compartable for 98 OS.

you could also use OpenOffice from click here if you are thinking of using a free piece of software.

but the early versions lave less bells and whistles and use less memory, for ease of use the earlier the better. Even office XP will run on a win98 machine but it could slow it down, 2000 is your best bet - make sure it is the pro version if you want access.
