Having had a low disk capacity warning - I is time to clean up and have a 'get rid'ession of unused stuff.

Wading down the Add/Remove file deleting like mad as I went I came across the following

Microsoft NET.frame work2.SP1 @186 Mb
Ditto version 3. SP1 @215Mb
Ditto version 3.5 @ 25mb
Do I need all three?
More over Windows[XP Pro] wont let me uninstall any of them

You apparently do. ie they each do a different job. I've never bothered finding out what exactly they do, but I should think Google would help there.

better to get rid of unnecessary programmes or items you don't really need or things you saved on your disc instead of web.

Google each one in turn and read what their function is. If you find they are not necessary then take what action you feel is right. I've had a look at them in Google and I think they are necessary to your PC.

Yes, you do need all three. Programs will have been written for each version as and when it was current.
If you get rid of any you may find that something doesn't work.
