message -run a DLL as an APP comes up

Hi to all.

desperate need of help.
My logitech mx laser mouse has started to play up, center scroll not working ( scrolling up is very jerky, and wont work at all on on-line gamming), thumb buttons ect,
I go onto my comp. to try to sort it out.
After a while , after closing application down the message-(run dll as an app )
have done a full virus check with avg, ccleaner, ect.
Uninstalled software ect, the re installed.
still cant get anyware.
please help.
Please keep it basic though.

Hi, try running ccleaner click here in its default settings.

Ooops, just noticed - you have already run ccleaner.

Try running at the Start menu's Run box this command:
Note there is a space after SFC and before the /
Follow any on-screen instructions (have your WinXP CD nearby).
When the process is done, then run this command at the Start menu's Run box:
You should get a message that the command succeeded.

thanks for replys.
Managed to sort it out in the end, went to logitech web site and downloaded latest drivers for the mouse.
All started working fine again???????
