It want to join up several mp3 tracks into one large mp3. This is so that they will all play continuously on my mp3 player.

What software do I need? can Nero do the job. If so then how?

You could do it with any wav editor, Nero does contain a wav editor (depending on the version of Nero you have). Or you could use Audacity. click here

Nero WaveEditor can.
1: Run WaveEditor,
2: Load an mp3,
3: move play line to far Right,
4: Click Edit menu,
5: Insert File..
6: Choose next mp3,
7: Edit out (CUT) gap,
8: GOTO 3. (And Repeat).
