memory partition

I run Windows XP which I am very happy with. I have Hard drives partitioned as C and D I also have an external 500gb drive but my c drive is down to 3.80gb and the d drive is 148gb (197 total)is there any way i can transfer some of the d drive space to the c drive, say 10gb. I tend not to use the d drive much, only when recording tv or video.

I had 'lost' a LaCie portable hard drive. It showed up in 'Safely Remove' but not in Windows Expolorer. I saw this post and thought that it might be wort a try. It is marvellous!! Really easy to understand and install. I will certainly be keeping it!!

Many, many thanks for information.

use this to boot the machine and swap the C and D drive letters

Do not touch X these are the tools for repairing the machine

I suspect the extra partition (drive) should be hidden as it may contain an image for the windows repair tools to perform a factory reset.

Once the letters are correct use the windows repair options to do a startup repair if needed.
