Memory no recognized in win 7

I am running win 7 ultimate 64bit on a asus p6t ws pro board, I have 6gig memory installed but system only sees 2gig, have changed sticks around but to no avail, any suggestions.

Try rebooting and entering your BIOS. This is usually done by pressing Delete or F8 during the boot up cycle (before windows loads). You can look through settings there and determine if your BIOS is showing the RAM properly. If it's not, you could possibly either have some bad memory chips, bad memory slots, or be in need of a BIOS update (or some other incompatibility issue).

Also have you checked the QVL click here
I know I had ram compatibility issues with my last build because I had not checked the QVL. Just a thought.
