Memory Modules.

I need to increase memory on my daughters PC. Installed is PC700 (166mz). I have tried crucial but they have none. I can buy it elseware but need to know if I have to stay with the 166mz bit or can I use 333mz. Thanks for any help. Win XP Pro

what motherboard?

motherboard may not support higher speed mem.

Hi, if you run the Crucial scan on your daughters PC, it will tell you all you need to know.

PC2700 is DDR (Double Date Rate) ram. It runs at 166MHz and this equates to 333MHz with DDR enabled.
