memory being used up

I seem to remember someone from this forum telling me about freeing up more memory if you have 2 x 512 cards?? is this true, somthing about if you had 2 sticks you could set them up to run as one as oppose to 2 seperate, I may have been mistaken though.

Also when i put the properties for my graphics card up it says total physical mem available 1048,048 kb , total free memory 665,460kb, is this normal, this is without anything running.

I doubt it; 2x512 or 1GB you have the same amount of memory.

Yes it's correct but they are not your g-card memory properties, it's your system memory.
