Can i fit DDR400 memory to an AMD processor and motherboard running at 266

If your motherboard will accept DDR 400 PC3200 RAM then yes it will but the FSB will run at DDR 266 so really the RAM will in effect run at a slower speed, so its not worth buying unless part of an overall upgrade project.
