i have a 800mhz p3 with 100fsb the ram is pc100 sdram 168 pin, i am having trouble getting the same at 256mb strips could i put in some pc133 256mb strips instead of using the pc100 much regards for any help

Do you know the motherboard: if not go to click here# for Aida32 and it will ID the board for you.

Then go to click here and put in the details - it will find the RAM you need.

But using PC133 instead of PC100 should not cause a problem; it will run at the lower speed. Having said that, some motherboards don't like different chips. But there is nothing to be lost by trying.
