Media Centre Question

  SonnyB 20:47 16 Dec 2008

I am using Media Centre to playback dvd's, but playback is interrupted by the screensaver. In windows media player there is an option to allow/disable screensaver during playback. Surely Media Centre should have such a setting?
Can someone please advise where this is.

Easiest way is to disable the screensaver all together,

Right click on your desktop, click properties, click the screensaver tab and choose none, then apply and ok.

Thanks, but I do not want to disable it altogether as sometimes when I am not using the pc I do want the screensaver to kick in. Surely there in an option within media centre to just diable screensaver during playback. Media player does this.

Its up to you whether you have a screensaver or not of course, but disabling it would solve your problem, and theres no need for a screen saver is there beyond personel preference?
