Im looking for a database program that is Access 2000 compatible (.mdb / .csv ).I have a game for my pc that requires that or compatible database and cant afford the full Microsoft Suite.Ive tried Open Office, any ideas?

Sadly not, but what game is it you are trying to play? I have never heard of a PC game that insists you own a copy of Access.

.mdb is Access, but .csv is comma separated variable format which can be opened by Excel, and I should think, Open Office as it is more of an open standard.

crosstrainer makes a very good point! Thus I'm a bit puzzled by your question.

Its a railway game called "Hellfire" and though Access isnt required to run + play it,it opens up the game and gives you more different ways to play it

Looks like you will have to either buy Office or live without the extra features. At least you can play the game, and shelling out £££ for a relational DB that you would never use makes no sense!
