McRae Rally '05 on gF FX5500

The gF FX5500 is not on the list of "supported chipsets" listed in microscopic-size print on the back of the DVD case. Does anyone have any experience of running this game on a card using this chipset?

Why not try the (single player)demo. to see how well it runs?

It should work though (is this the same as what's written on the back of the box?):-

• 256Mb RAM
• Supported 64Mb Graphics Card
• DirectX 9 Compatible Sound Card
• 400mb

Recommended Specification

• Windows 2000/XP
• DirectX 9c
• Pentium III/4 or Athlon at 2GHz
• 512Mb RAM
• Graphics Card: ATi Radeon 8xxx and above, nVidia GeForce3 and above
• Sound Blaster Audigy 2 series audio card

You do know that the 5200 and 5500 are essentially the same card, right?

I didn't know that the 5200 and 5500 are the same. Just thought I'd ask if anyone had any experience with this as it is not listed on the DVD case. Thanks. I've just received an e-mail from Codemasters which confirms that the game will run with this chipset.
