They look really good,
anyone any idea how long they take and if u can usee your system while they work?
Will they be able to reinstall programmes after a reformat?

they back up in seconds, and you use it just like any other HDD, they do not back up the OS..

I have a Maxtor one touch but I do not use the one touch button,to use this feature you have to use the Retrospect Software that comes with the Drive, I use Drive Image 7.0 and USB 2.0 and believe me it is very fast.

Finally got it! What can I say superb!

Everything you need in the box including usb2 and firewire cables and backup software. A reformat to NTFS. Very fast would recommend to anyone. (And not massively more than a internal drive)
