I seem to recall that there may a limit as to the maximum ram that Windows XP pro will support. I am thinking about obtaining a new motherboard and fitting 4Gb of DDR2 ram. Just cos I can!!
Is there a limit?

4GB is the limit for XP Pro 32bit.

I think its an XP limit of 4gigs. Vista 32bit is the same but the 64bit version is capable of much more.

actually its 3.2Gb for XP pro, if you install 4GB and check in system manager, it will show you have 3.2Gb.
