Maximum hard drive recognition

I run a new machine (bought post Aug 07) running Vista Home Premium, Asus M2N-E SLI mobo and 500mb HDD SATA. As 1TB HDDs have fallen in price, I would like to buy one. But I want to know whether my system would take it? Specifically, does Vista or my mobo have a maximum HDD size to which it addresses either single drive or cumulative? Thanks.

I don't know of any limit on HD capacity, but ask these people using their customer sevices Live Help. Maybe too late for today! click here

Thanks Diemmess. Much appreciated. Didn't get any other responses from a usually knowledgeable and active forum. I did it anyway and bought the drive. I can confirm that my Vista Home Premium system (32 bit) successfully addresses 1.5 tb drives (1 1tb drive and 1 500 gb drive).

I too am surprised nobody else chipped in!
