Mathematical 'Division sign' in Word?

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of getting the division sign to add to a Maths worksheet I'm doing? No problems with the +,-,or x !!!
Thanks in anticipation.

Try this. Put NumLock on, then press the Alt key, and on the numeric keypad 0247

In Ariel and Times New Roman it is Alt 0247 (i.e. hold down the Alt key, type 0247 on the number pad and release the Alt key).

Otherwise use the / key

Thanks to Gongoozler and FelixTCat for prompt replies. That's it fixed!
Many thanks for excellent responses.

By the way I think the corresponding code for the multiplication sign is 0215.

See if it works here -> × .
