Mass mailing problem

I have some how got infected with a (trojan) mass mailer it has now flooded my pop3 with bounced mail.It is not picked up by ANY of my security programmes(ie AVG,spybot, adaware,ms antispy etc) and is not listed in add/remove but is listed in the start up programmes(msconfig) as CSRSS.EXE.Now i have determined that csrss.exe(lower case)is a legit windows service/process.Ive been thru the registry and removed those entries in capitals(CSRSS.EXE) and restarted with no problems so far.Ive posted a hijackthis on GEEKSTOGO.COM but had no reply yet.Avg was even scanning the messages, which appear to be some sort of randomly generated advertising spam and randomly generated addresses (hence the bounces). Anybody got any suggestions? It seems to have stopped now. How can i get my ISP(bt openworld) to clear my pop3 backlog from the server. By the way the little blighter appeared to be connecting to IP 139.165.16.60 (a french university) and 69.90.172.185 (a german music site) i have e-mailed both to desist . Thanks

First clear any Addresses you do not use from Address book then put a x after all other e-mail addresses when you then send a mail you need to remove the x as the mail will not go until you do. you should then run Ad-Aware and Spybot then check drive by creating a Hijack log and post to one of the forums or hear or both so it can be looked at

Go to your BTOpenworld account using webmail. Log in using your full e-mail address and password and delete them manually from there. You may find they are in your Yahoo spam folder anyway.
