MAPI Error message

  Goatshed 09:20 06 Oct 2004

I cannot send email from websites. When I try to, I get a popup screen
requiring me to "Choose profile". The only option is "Microsoft Outlook
Internet Profile", not that I want to use Outlook, prefering Outlook
Express instead. When I press OK I get the message "The MAPI Spooler
could not be started. Close and restart all mail enabled applications.
MAPI 1.0[000004C7]" and cannot proceed further.
I have run Reinstall and Repair Microsoft Office 2000, during which I
get a popup window titled "Microsoft Server Extensions" with the message
"Unabel to access configuration for Microsoft Personl Web Server." If I
click OK the program continues installing.
I have tried replacing various MAPI files in Windows System folders with
no luck.
I am using Windows XP Home Edition with Windows 2000. I can use Outlook
and Outlook Express with no other problems.
As a last resort I loaded Office 2003 and now the links just don't work at all!!!

Can anyone out there help?
