Hi

My computer has this malware called Zlob.porn.ad and it is throwing up fake (I think) Windows security alerts and it has also posted some obscene icons on my desk top. I have run Malware bytes anti malaware, which was recommended kindly by this forum to me a few weeks ago for another problem. But I think problem is still there. Any help appreciated.

Kind regards

Amer Khalil

Restart your computer, as it starts to boot keep tapping F8 and you will get the option to boot in Safe Mode (It can take a while to load)

You may need the help of the experts please join this site and post a HJT scan on the forum

you might also need this, scroll down halfway down the page, but follow the instructions fully...click here

Might alos be worth doing a virus scan with the likes of Avast.

Hi everyone

Thanks for all your help.

I have looged my problem with a expert site as suggested.

I think it somehow hijacks my home page and then reloads the nasty stuff.

Any other ideas while I am awaiting a reply from the experts???

Regards

Amer

mfletch has pointed you in the right direction, please do not make any changes to the computer if you have posted a HijackThis log.

Do not install or run any further programs.

If you have no reply with mfletch's advice, please run HiJackThis again and post the log click here you will need to register (its free).

Here we can have a look and an expert malware fighter will help you clean the machine correctly.

If you are currently receiving help from mfletch's link do NOT post the log at Malwareremoval...as this may cause some conflicts.
These specialist forums have very powerful tools to hand and best used with the correct advice.

If you have not started the cleaning process at Virusvault and you decide to post at Malware removal, please post a link there pointing back to this thread so they can see what has been tried to date.
