Hi Everyone,
I'm a bit of a novice in networks. I want to set up a very small one (2 pcs) with the ability to connect a few more when nessecery. I have an Advent Tower PC and a HP Laptop. The laptop is wirelessly enabled. These are the steps I intend to follow. Please correct me if they are wrong!
1. Buy Wireless Broadband Router from Argos(=£89.99)
2. Plug into Advent PC
3.Follow instructions to set up
4. Press wireless button on Laptop and it will pick up the network(?)
5. Able to share Broadband, printers and files

As I have already said, I'M a novice in Networks. Any advice very much appreciated. Both are XP Home and have at least 256mb RAM

You may be able to get a router cheaper at pc world or via ebuyer.com

Naturally the makers of the networking equipment will have helplines - for example Belkin who operate a free phone number 24/7
