I produced a Referees handbook in A5 with over 200 pages last year. I simply set it up in word and my printer paginated it for me. They have the software to do it very quickly. If you are intending to print it yourself you will need a good publishing package.
I intend to print it myself, just a short run. I have Serif Page Plus 5 but I could not see how to work the booklet. I have noted that Adobe Pagemaker 7 is offered on a 30 day download trial from their website, so unless anyone has a better answer, I think I will go for that. This is the first time I have used this forum , I can't believe how fast it is!

I don't have PP5 installed. Take a look at the Page Setup menu. You should have a choice of publication types: Regular, Large, Small, and Folded. In the folded publications there are options for booklets. Not positive about PP5 though.
Jusr remembered how I came by Pageplus 8.0 for £9.95. It was offered to me by Serif sales when I registered Pageplus 6.0 which was a "freebie" with the Feb 2004 edition of Computer Shopper. Probably worth giving them a ring. I use it to produce an A5(folded A4) magazine each month and it does everthing I need both text and graphics, page numbering / layout etc.
