The 'help' instructs; Right click on icon, choose 'sharing and security'.BUT, the 'make this folder private' is faded out and is not operative.How does one make individual folders only opening with a password?

Thanks for prompt help.My C drive and EHD are both NTFS.Again thanks but I still don't understand why the Microsoft system should be so selective and difficult. Never mind, I have now the solution.
