LP's to CD, a decent software reccomendation

  ANFIELD 20:57 28 Feb 2004

I'm looking to transfer my old LP's and 12" singles on to CD. Can anyone give me a decent software to use, and how do I do it ??

I bought Magix Audio Cleaning Lab which will transfer your LPs onto CD. It will also take out any cracks, pops or hisses. You will need to read the manual carefully as it is not that user-friendly but by experimentation you will get a successful result. (You can also transfer compact cassettes as well!). Hope this helps?

get musicmatchjukebox it is free, but get ver6 because the later versions do not have line in.

I've transferred many of my LPs onto CD using Easy CD Creator.

I use Steinberg Clean and have never had a bad recording ao a CD.

Musicmatch ALL versions have line-in.

Probably the freeby won't allow you to use it in later versions, but as my 8.2 is registered (about £15), then I got it.
