I lost my sound , music cds & music on hard drive would not play etc. I did a systom restore two three days earlier and tried all i could think of , no good, then it just came back but i have to have the speakers on nearly full to get a medium sound with the computer volume up full.

It hardly had to be on at aal before . Any ideas out there please

Try reinstalling the drivers for the soundcard or the onboard sound

Just a thought, have you checked the levels in your volume control. Cheers

You should have a QDI cd put this in the drive. If I remember correctly then you will be given a set of options one of these will be to install the Sound Drivers.
