Lost picture grabber

  bellababy 11:12 29 Aug 2006

For a number of years I had a programme that allowed me to copy and file pictures from web pages it also had a button that allowed me to enlarge the current picture. I had it that long I don't know what it was called or how I got it in the first place. It has now disappeared for why I don't know but I miss it. Does anyone know what it was and how I can get it back, or a good alternative. In anticipation thanks.

I have one called Miotoolbox which does that. You can google for it. (free)

it is a free program. go to click here
there is a download link at the bottom of the page.

That is not a free version it is a trial version, for either 30 days or 90 days either way it is not free.

sorry Bellababy, when I downloaded mine, it must have been a special offer cause mine is unlimited. anyway, try it and see if you like it. It is fairly cheap.

Bellababy, I've sorted it. It was one of the free full programs on the August (issue 133) dvd. It required registration but was free. If you have that issue, you may still be able to get it free. The dvd gives you the serial code No. and then you register on-line.

I don't have that copy (issue 133)due being hospitalised and having a major chest operation.

Thanks jbaker65 for your help, afraid it didn't work in any case it was more sophisticated than I required. Also apologies for delay in replying, I have now rediscovered what had gone astray, it was my 'Windows task bar manager' it is part of M S Internet Explorer, I recently downloaded Mozilla Firefox and have been using that as my browser, it would seem that it doesn't have the equivalent.Looks like I'll have to get rid of Firefox. :-(
Thanks anyway.
