More info needed. What exact procedure did you follow to increase the size of C?

Hello i started partition magic, chose resize partiotion i think its called and changed the size to 15GB, it asked where to use the space from and i chose E: as it had approx 100GB free.
Had to restart and upon restart E drive missing

That could explain things if your HDD was divided into 2 partitions with no free space left over. The correct procedure would have been to first reduce the size of E[the 110 gb partition]thus creating free space between C and E. Then you could have increased C to fill the space. That's the way to do it next time.

Thanks a few questions if poosible

1: Can i retrive the data i had on E? i hope so

2: If not how do i reallocate an E drive?

I honestly don't whether the data is retrievable - PM is a great tool when used properly but can cause problems for the uninitiated.

What do see to the right of your C drive as you look at the PM Bar representation of your disk?

Not at the pc at mo will have to check later, I shall keep you posted.
This will perhaps teach me to do regular backups!
Thanks for now

New line

No joy i am afraid acronis could not find any unallocated space it says.

Does anyone have any good suggestions?

Have you tried the "Undelete Partition" option in PM, failing that can you boot from the PM rescue disk (you did create them, didn't you) to see if you can recover your partition from there.
