Lost Microsoft Photo Editor

I used to have Microsoft Photo Editor amongst the programs in my PC when suddently I realised it has disappeared. My OS is Windows XP home OEM version.
Photos open normally through Windows picture and fax viewer but if I want to alter one for whatever reason, this sends me to Paint which I find not as easy to use as Photo Editor.
I have tried looking through Programs etc but nothing to be found, it's just gone!
Any ideas?
Thanks to all

Have you tried a system restore back to before this occured.
Also try right clicking the photograph and from the dropdown box select Microsoft Photo Editor, if it is not there click Choose programs and see if it is in that list.

It's part of Microsoft Office - go to add/remove programs and either do a repair, or re-install.

Just a thought the Editor comes as part of Microsoft office, have you updated your office package as the newer versions ship with Microsoft manager.

Thanks to all mates!
Skyver you were right, did a repair and it worked.
