Lost Games

  Splodge 18:39 17 May 2007

I like to play the Microsoft Games, usually Internet Hearts or Spades.

I have completely re-installed onto a new hard-drive, after a lot of anguish.

Everything is working well, all the debris has gone, my WINTV is recording well but...

I play the Windows games and thought I would create a short-cut to my desktop! Instead I moved the lot to the desktop and accidently deleted it.

I will have to start again, woe oh woe unless you kind people can tell me how to get it back without doing so!

Thanks in anticipation.

Go to control panel, click add/remove programs and the option is there to install windows components - including the games.

The games are under accessories and utilities by the way.

Obviously you do not resemble your nom-de-plume!

Thanks very much!

I can now play on!

Some would disagree.

Once you've tried it and you've tested it works ok please tick this as resolved.

Mine is asking for the XP disc to be installed to find the software but then wont recognise it. Maybe I am the braindead one!!
Am I missing something??
