lost the bar with the "start" and "clock" etc

hi, please can someone help, i have lost the bar that is at the bottom of the screen, so i can not get to "control panel" and the like.

Move your cursor to where the 'Task Bar' should be it might be auto-hidden, if it is, it will reappear.

move you mouse to the bottom of the screen it should change to a arrow click and drag up

Reboot the computer into Safe Mode. Once in safe mode, reboot the computer once again and the task bar should be restored.

When i press my windows key it shows my start menu, what does yours do!!
