Can people give me ideas of good BackUp/Imaging software they've had experience of using.I've been hunting throughout the net and whilst I find plenty of titles; Ghost, Drive Image, Go Back (all now under Symantec since it absorbed Powerquest), Acronis True Image, BackUp Wolf, etc.I'm having a heck of a time finding a piece of software universally accepted as doing the job well, being easy to use (and having reasonable support).Cheers for ideas.
My best is as follows,Drive Image,Acronis True Image
Go Back for some, can be problematic. The two universally (I think) leader's have to be Ghost and Drive Image.Personally, I use Ghost and haven't had a problem. Others swear by Drive Image.
Norton ghost, with it you can image your hard drive as a bootable cd, span the image across multiple cd's, copy hard drive to hard drive, as in the case of a new drive, copy partition to partition to name but a few.
It was pretty much a toss up between Acronis, Drive Image and Ghost, so I finally picked Ghost.Which introduces a new question, but wraps this one up.
