Hi, I came here to get a bit of advice.

I got a £400 spending limit to buy a pc, but kind of stuck trying to get the best buy.

I mostly use my pc for internet exploring, downloading music, storing photos and playing a game on-line which is Rfactor heres the system requirements for this game...

System Requirements
1.4 GHz processor
Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, XP 64-bit, Vista, Windows 7 (will NOT run in Windows 95 or Windows 98 first edition)
512 MB RAM
Geforce4 4200 or Radeon 9200
128 MB video RAM
DirectX 9.0c
2.0 GB of hard drive space for installation
Internet connection required for one-time activation

I have found one I like the look of and sound off

Would this be perfect for what I want to use a PC for?

If any one kind find anything better for £400 im all eyes, must come with monitor, mouse, keyboard and also windows 7 :).

The specs for your game are pretty old/low and easy to satisfy, and your overall requirements are pretty undemanding too, so that pc will do the job. But by the time you add VAT to the price you are talking £450 or so (+ delivery too, perhaps?) So best clarify your top all-inclusive price if you're looking for alternative suggestions. Make sure you buy from somewhere with a good after-sales reputation too. Cheers :@)

Sorry - I meant delivery from Staples Direct is free, but remember to allow for this in your budget for alternatives from elsewhere.

From Tesco's and a little bit more expensive.

That deal from Tesco looks pretty good.

Cheers for the reply's.

Liking the sound of the Tesco one very good by the sounds of it, but it does not say nothing the graphics?

Or will this have a decent graphics card in there what will match the easy requirements for the game?

Cheers Mikey.

The graphics card is either Nvidia 7100 or 9200 depending on what site you check. They are pretty poor but should be ok for what you want to play. Not too sure about how upgradeable the graphics are as it is a "small form factor" pc.

Or why don't you go for something within your £400 budget from Tesco - e.g. click here that you can add a graphics card to later for £40 to £50 if you want.

Also click here for MAT ALAN's advice re. Medion pc from ALDI : looks very good.

You'd need to add a monitor of course! Min £60 to £100, say.
