Can anyone help, i'm looking for an excellent 19in TFT monitor, was looking at Philips thought the 5ms response time was excellent, very unsure though and need some solid advice.

The advantage with buying at Tesco is that they will accept a return without question, provided there is no obvious sign of damage or use. This will enable a short test run to see of you like it and to ensure there are no dead pixels.

Try the both of those. However depending on what you want to do a lower end monitor will do you fine. 12ms responce for use as an internet browser and office system will do you just fine.

the likes of this will do you well if you dont play games.

I have used Acer AL1511, 15", for a year or so. No problems at all.

The link above by Creature of the Nite for the Acer 1706 appears to be good value, I paid £110 for mine.
